a doom like proof of concept game for the The Interstellar Game Jam 9

how to play:

wasd: movement

Lshift: run

E: if you have 100% light you can +1 health

light: it's your main source of energy

 you need light to shoot the enemies

and heal

trees: they give you maximum health and light

orbs: scattered around the level and dropped by enemies,

small orb gives you +25 light and big orb gives +50

(you can't waste light if you are on 75% a +50 will drop another +25)
